Identifying as a business
Professional sellers must correctly identify themselves where required.
Business sellers must provide information required by applicable law and CZAAH.
This may include:
- legal trading name;
- business address;
- contact details;
- company number;
- VAT information where applicable; and
- other regulatory details.
Ongoing obligations
Business sellers remain responsible for applicable consumer rights, tax, product safety and other legal obligations.
A seller must not falsely claim to be a private seller to avoid business obligations.
