How CZAAH Flow and product recommendations work, in plain language, and how you can shape what you see.

CZAAH uses recommendation systems to help you find products and sellers that are more likely to be relevant to you — for example in CZAAH Flow, the personalised marketplace feed, and product recommendation modules.
This page explains, in plain language, what those systems may take into account and how you can influence them. It does not disclose the specific formulas, models or weightings CZAAH uses, which are proprietary and may change over time.
What recommendations may take into account
Depending on the surface, CZAAH's recommendation systems may consider signals including:
- your activity, such as items you have viewed or saved, and the categories, brands, sizes and budget you have told CZAAH you prefer;
- watch time and engagement on CZAAH Flow and other video content;
- product interests you have expressed, directly or through your activity;
- sellers you follow;
- likes and saves;
- for CZAAH LIVE, the categories of items you have saved or bought;
- whether you have already seen a post, so newer posts come first;
- posts CZAAH has chosen to feature;
- a degree of variety each time you open CZAAH Flow;
- your approximate country and language settings;
- how recently a listing, seller or stream was created or updated (freshness);
- how complete a listing is and the seller's track record, such as photos and description, completed sales and whether the seller is verified;
- negative feedback you or others have given, such as hiding or reporting content; and
- safety and trust signals identified by CZAAH's moderation and risk systems.
Not every signal applies to every surface, and CZAAH may add, remove or change the signals it uses over time.
How you can influence your recommendations
You can shape what CZAAH shows you by using controls including:
- Not Interested, where available, to tell CZAAH a particular item, seller or category is not relevant to you;
- unfollowing a seller;
- hiding a creator or a sound in CZAAH Flow, or a seller in CZAAH LIVE;
- reporting content that breaches CZAAH's policies; and
- your ordinary search and browsing activity, which CZAAH's systems may learn from over time.
Changes you make may take some time to be reflected in what you see, and will not always remove every related item immediately.
