Additional terms that apply when you ask a CZAAH Personal Shopper to find something for you. These apply on top of the Terms and Conditions.
Personal Shopper is a CZAAH service where you describe what you are looking for and a vetted CZAAH Personal Shopper tries to find it for you. The promise is “Tell us what you want. We’ll find it.” — it is a promise about effort and about who does the looking. It is not a promise that any particular item will be found.
A Personal Shopper is a real person approved by CZAAH to take on customer requests. They are not an automated service and not an anonymous account. You can see who has been assigned to your request.
These terms apply in addition to the CZAAH Terms and Conditions. Where they conflict on a Personal Shopper matter, these terms apply to that matter.
These terms cover requests handled by an approved CZAAH Personal Shopper. They do not cover “Find it for me” or “Bring it for me” asks, which any member can answer. For those asks, CZAAH does not take, hold or move any payment, the arrangement is between you and the member you choose, and CZAAH Buyer Protection does not apply to it.
Personal Shopper is only available in the areas CZAAH has opened it in. Coverage is checked when you submit a request, and a request for an area we do not cover will be declined rather than left open.
Coverage can change. An area being available today is not a commitment that it will remain available, and CZAAH may pause or withdraw the service in an area without notice where it cannot be delivered properly.
You describe what you want in your own words. CZAAH turns that into a structured brief — things like budget, size, colour, brand, location and when you need it — which you can edit or clear before you submit it.
The brief is a starting point produced with software assistance, and it may misread what you meant. You are responsible for checking that the brief says what you actually want before you submit it. See the AI Use & Transparency Policy.
Once submitted, the request is matched to an available Personal Shopper. Matching depends on coverage and shopper availability, and no response time is guaranteed.
Your shopper then proposes items to you. You approve or decline each one.
A Personal Shopper does not buy anything on your behalf until you have approved that specific item at the price shown to you.
If the price, condition or availability of an approved item changes before purchase, your approval no longer applies and the item must be proposed to you again.
A Personal Shopper may propose items listed on CZAAH, or items available from third parties such as shops and other retailers.
For an item listed on CZAAH, the sale is between you and that CZAAH seller, and the ordinary CZAAH Terms, Buyer Protection and Returns and Refunds apply to it.
For an item obtained from a third party, that third party’s own terms, guarantees and returns policy govern the item itself. CZAAH is not that retailer and does not control their terms.
CZAAH does not promise that a requested item will be found, that it will be found within any particular time, or that it will be available at the budget you set.
CZAAH does not promise that a price quoted at the time of proposal will still be available later, or that stock held by a third party will remain in stock.
CZAAH does not authenticate items as part of this service. See the Authenticity Policy.
A request may be declined — for example where it is outside our coverage, concerns a prohibited or restricted item, or cannot be fulfilled lawfully.
No separate Personal Shopper fee is currently charged.
Where a fee is introduced in future, the amount that applies to your request will be shown to you before you approve any purchase, and you will not be charged a fee you were not shown.
Any CZAAH Fee and any postage or delivery charge on an item you buy are charged in the ordinary way and are shown before you confirm payment. See the Payments Policy.
An item from a CZAAH listing is paid for through CZAAH checkout, using our authorised payment service provider, in the same way as any other CZAAH purchase.
An item from a third-party retailer is paid for on that retailer's own website, under its own terms. CZAAH does not take that payment.
You must not pay a Personal Shopper personally, by bank transfer, cash or any other method outside CZAAH, and a Personal Shopper must never ask you to. Paying outside CZAAH removes every protection this platform provides, and asking a customer to do so is a serious breach of these terms. Report it through the CZAAH Inbox or the reporting route in the Reporting & Complaints Policy.
How an approved item reaches you depends on where it came from. An item bought from a CZAAH listing is delivered under the ordinary CZAAH delivery arrangements. An item obtained another way will be delivered by the method agreed on your request.
Delivery charges are shown before you confirm payment. CZAAH is not the carrier.
You can cancel a request at any time before you approve an item for purchase, at no cost.
Once you have approved an item and payment has been taken, cancellation depends on where the item came from and how far the purchase has progressed. For a CZAAH listing, the ordinary cancellation, returns and refund rules apply. For an item obtained from a third party, that third party’s cancellation and returns policy applies to the item.
CZAAH may close a request that has gone unanswered, cannot be progressed, or has been abandoned.
Buyer Protection applies to a Personal Shopper purchase made through a CZAAH listing in the same way as any other CZAAH purchase — including an item that does not arrive, arrives materially damaged, is significantly not as described, is the wrong item, or is counterfeit. See the Buyer Protection page.
Your statutory rights are not affected by anything on this page. Where a seller is acting as a business or trader, additional rights may apply. See the Returns & Refunds Policy and the Business Seller Policy.
Personal Shoppers are approved by CZAAH before they can accept requests. Approval may involve identity verification, payout readiness where relevant, and CZAAH’s own review. See Seller Terms for how verification generally works on CZAAH.
Approval means a shopper has met CZAAH’s requirements to take on requests. It is not a guarantee of any outcome and is not a personal endorsement.
A Personal Shopper must not misrepresent an item, conceal a defect, propose a prohibited or restricted item, or move a conversation or payment off CZAAH. CZAAH may remove a shopper’s approval at any time.
Give accurate information in your request, including budget, size and delivery details. A request built on inaccurate information may produce proposals you do not want.
Respond to proposals within a reasonable time. Requests left unanswered may be closed.
Treat your Personal Shopper decently. The Community Standards apply to every message sent through CZAAH, including Personal Shopper conversations.
CZAAH is responsible for operating the Personal Shopper service, for approving who may act as a Personal Shopper, and for the protections it publishes.
CZAAH does not manufacture, own or inspect the items proposed to you, and does not guarantee the quality, authenticity or legality of an item obtained from a third party.
